Utah's first Life Plan Community, Summit Vista, is a meticulously planned campus-style Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) to serve the senior population of the greater Salt Lake City metropolitan area. The 105-acre community offers residents three independent living neighborhoods plus a health care facility all arranged around an ample, central oval green space for outdoor community programming.
Each independent neighborhood has a central clubhouse linked with interior/climate-controlled links or bridges. These provide orientation to the outdoors and naturally lit areas during the interior walking experience. Inside each building, wayfinding tools are utilized to help make the path easy to navigate, and no matter where you are, the 'Main Street' level is accessible by every apartment through a single elevator ride.
