Dani-nan Management is redeveloping and repositioning a project in Shymkent, adding a 10-story vertical mixed-use tower, and 36,953 square meters of new retail. Diversification and cross-pollination of uses can foster a new level of urbanization and breathe life into Shymkent’s city center. Phase-1 includes an expansion and renovation for the main building. Phase-2 will expand the TSUM department store to maximize the general leasing area. Phase-3 will connect the two sites via a pedestrian bridge. Given the office and residential uses onsite both towers will use their respective retail parcel’s roofs for an ample outdoor gathering space. The building’s skin, while attractive, serves to screen the building and help with cooling cost and energy efficiency.
